At the time of this writing, the developer does not have the time or facility to properly vet by testing beyond the minimal "testing by interactive programming", let alone do any good performance test. There is a need for alpha, beta and performance testers on the casefix team for all parts of the casefix project.

Code contributions that improve the code.

Character Set Testers: Different conpiles of casefix using different locals and character sets that should be supported by the casefix suite.

casefix command Alpha Testers - test the functionality of the program, trying out as many different invocations, inputs and output variations for the sake of testing. Report any malfunction or unexpected behavior; include all details requested in the file "Bug Reporting" which is in the casefix command development folder as well as report on overall performance and any suggestions.

casefix command Beta Testers - test the functionality of the program through the practical use of the casefix command. Report any malfunction or unexpected behavior; include all details requested in the file "Bug Reporting" which is in the casefix command development folder as well as report on overall performance and any suggestions. Please include anecdotal material, successes or failures.

casefix command Test Developers - Develop and submit a "standard" set of test data files. Develop and submit standard testing scripts, alpha test and performance test.

casefix command Performance Testers - test the speed of the program and compare the results of the different active versions of the program over the same input data and conditions. Report the test and its results. If available use casefix test data and test scripts. Submit suggestions for improved testing. Report any malfunction or unexpected behavior; include all details requested in the file "Bug Reporting" which is in the casefix command development folder as well as report on overall performance.

Distro Maintainers - to make libcasefix shared lib available to developers and maintainers
				   - to make casefix command available to scripters and other users

Developer Relations -

especially slackware, debian, fedora, arch and gentoo
